If everything goes according to plan, Roxy will arrive in New Zealand on 23 September 2026. She will then stay at Qualified Pet Services, an approved quarantine facility in Auckland.

Her planned release date is 5 October 2026. That is the day I hope to go to the facility, see her again and finally bring her home.

After such a long separation, I often imagine that moment. I wonder whether she will recognise me immediately and how she will react when she sees me.

The import permit is still being processed, so the dates are not yet final. For now, I am continuing the preparations and hoping everything goes smoothly.

When Roxy is safely home, I will update this story with our real reunion and photos from that special day.
